Presenting science lessons, circus style! This innovative and entertaining educational offering uses the magical world of circus to teach concepts like Forces and Motion, Simple Machines, Matter, Air Power, Chemical Reactions and more. All of the content is researched and tried, supporting actual concepts of science!
Trained by Ringling Brothers Circus, Steve Russell and Kobi Shaw’s performing skills in comedy, juggling, magic and balancing bring the dimensions of novelty, surprise, and fun to the mix. So, step right up! The Circus Science Spectacular is your ticket to science fun.
KALEIDOSCOPE is a performance series in its 46th season, providing shows for kids of all ages! Each show is held on the Main Library Plaza (off of Michigan Street) and run for 45 minutes, rain or shine. The two shows are at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with ASL interpretation provided at all afternoon shows. Seating is provided. Please leave chairs and pets at home.
