Our monthly drum circle will be outside around the fire, weather permitting! Please read below for event details:
5pm to 6pm - Beginner/Intermediate Warm Up Drum Session. We will be sharing a few rhythms and techniques before we kick off our evening circle. This is a space to get everyone warmed up and ready to rock!
6pm to 8:30ish - Freestyle and lightly organized drum session. We will come together on one bass but allow for more free style drumming around the fire. We will be throwing in some intermittent chanting and song and those who wish to dance, please feel free to get your groove on!
8:30pm to 9pm - Cool down session incorporates more heart beat rhythms, hand percussion, hand held drums, and grounding exercises. Ending with bliss for you to carry home!
Please note - Although there will be some light snacks and coffee/tea available to share, this is not a pot luck style drum circle.
Donations are welcome. The coin of this realm allows us to keep our amazing rented space available consistently.
We also appreciate your donations of time and wayward drums (and drummers) that are looking for a home!
