Kaleidoscope: Siama's Congo Roots

Join us for a joyful musical journey to Siama's hometown in rural Bas Congo, where everyone loved making up songs and singing together under the stars. Siama's known for his intricate guitar, spirited singing and cool traditional instruments like mbira (thumb piano) and balafon (marimba). His wife Dallas is an engaging storyteller and encourages everyone to sing Siama's catchy songs. Siama will even teach you to yodel, whistle, hambone and beatbox like he used to do back home and our journey together culminates with a playful dance song. This program is designed especially for kids and caretakers but it's enjoyed by all so don't miss it!
