Intro to Yoga/Beginner Yoga Workshop

Curious about starting your yoga journey but not quite sure where to begin? We have the perfect workshop for you!
Join instructor Amy Renae, E-RYT 200 at Balance Yoga & Lifestyle on Saturday, July 26 at 11 AM and see that yoga is truly for everyone!
Topics to be covered:
-Awareness of the breath and its power
-Awareness of the mind body connection
-Breakdown of foundational yoga poses, and how to move through a beginner "flow" in a safe/mindful way
- Information about the different styles of yoga, the different classes we offer, and which may be a good fit for you
-How to care for and relax your nervous system through yin and restorative yoga, preparing us for an extended period of relaxation (known as savanna)
No experience is required to attend. We have mats/props available for your use at the studio. Just bring yourself, an open mind and your questions!
Investment: $60
(Note: this is 3 hour workshop, running from 11-12:30, with a lunch break from 12:30-1:15, then resuming from 1:15-2:45 PM)
Light refreshments will be provided (energy bars/fruit/drinks)
