Sketchbook Adventures

Explore your city through the page! This drawing class is designed to teach folks how to get comfortable with sketching out and about, chronicling your day and embracing all (un)intentional marks on the page. Drawing experiences can help build memories of your time, whether it's in a place somewhere new or your favourite local cafe. Students will learn to improve their drawing skills and confidence through lessons of foundational drawing tips, mark-making, perspective, static and kinetic life studies, and sensory drawings. Each session will take place at a public location around Halifax (students are notified of locations once the class is confirmed to run). Open to all levels of artists, beginners encouraged!
