Webinar: ‘Missing Middle’ policy - Is it any good?

The ACT Government has released its draft ‘Missing Middle’ policy for consultation. The policy is important for promoting housing affordability and equity, but also for environmental reasons: implemented well, the policy promises to reduce habitat destruction from building new suburbs, as well as reduce car dependency and carbon emissions as people living close to urban centres shifting to walking, riding or using public transport.
Join us for a webinar that explores whether the draft policy lives up to its promise, with Howard Maclean from Greater Canberra; Bill Gemmell from the Public Transport Association of the ACT; and Simon Copland, Executive Director of the Conservation Council. This event is free but a donation of $5 would help us continue our work in the ACT.
