Enjoy an evening of art, music and life drawing inspired by the exhibition Cézanne to Giacometti: Highlights from Museum Berggruen / Neue Nationalgalerie.
The exhibition will open at 5.30pm and there will be a pop up bar and live jazz in Gallery 8 before the workshops begin at 6.30pm.
From 6.30-8pm, the galleries transform into life drawing studios with each room hosting a workshop inspired by the works on display. From drawing ‘glance by glance’ like Cézanne, to drawing with scissors like Matisse, experiment with a range of approaches to life drawing guided by National Gallery artist educators.
Life Drawing Up Late is suitable for participants aged 18 years and over. Workshops include nude models of a range of genders. No previous drawing experience is required.
