Design Community Meeting for Vista del Sol Dr. Street Reconstruction and Resurfacing Project

The City of El Paso’s Capital Improvement Department will be hosting a design community meeting for the Vista del Sol Dr. Reconstruction and Resurfacing project. At the meeting, City Staff will be present to inform the public of the project, and answer any questions you may have.

This street improvements project includes roadway reconstruction with new street signage and markings, repairs to parkway structures, and ADA compliant sidewalks, driveways, ramps, curbs and gutters along the following portions of Vista del Sol Dr:

• Resurfacing from Phil Gibbs Dr. to Chelita Dr.
• Resurfacing from Jim Thorpe Dr. to Winslow Homer Dr.
• Reconstruction from Winslow Homer Dr. to Loop 375

This project of approximately $9 million is funded by the 2022 Community Progress Bond Program, and is part of the City of El Paso’s commitment to enhance our regional comprehensive transportations system.
