Hobson Bay, Orakei Basin loop

Probably the most run stretch of pavement in New Zealand, we'll start with a gentle jog along Tamaki Drive to Ngapipi Rd. (option to turn back here, for 6k total). Then sign a left to run around Hobson Bay, and Orakei Basin, up Brighton Road, down St Stephens (past what used to be John Key's place) and then back along Tamaki Drive.
The full loop is 16.5k, but can be shortened to 14.5k by skipping Orakei Basin. If you'd like to add on more, a 6k out-and-back to St Heliers is ideal.
The meeting point is: The car park opposite Mission Bay’s Berkeley Cinemas.
The route is easy to navigate as it goes through the main roads around the Orakei area.
