Join us for a FREE, family friendly event on Wednesday, July 15!
At this come-and-go event you will:
• Expand your perspective as you experience Sunflower Learning Community’s mission.
Partake in hands-on, personalized learning activities.
• Explore the facility and collect passport stamps.
Wednesday's activities will help students explore Muslim history, culture, and beliefs, including the annual ritual, the Hajj. Kids will participate in integrated and experiential learning at stations related to the life of Muhammad, discoveries and inventions from the Golden Age of Islam (like making perfume and pinhole cameras), the Five Pillars, mosque architecture, and the Hajj (pilgrimage), and more. Activities will incorporate reading comprehension, fine motor skills, science, geography, history, and other subjects.
Parents must accompany children at this event.
At 6pm, stay for a presentation about our fall programs, including a new hybrid homeschool program for K-8.
