Steampunk Hawaii at Nerds in the Park 2025!

Save the date, Saturday, August 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ala Moana Beach Park for Nerds in the Park, an unofficial spiritual successor to the late, great Hawaii Geek Meet!

Get steampunked and bring your family, friends and pets for a day at the beach that's a unique celebration of nerd culture: Gamers, cosplayers, tech junkies, crafters, creatives, and everyone else, come out to enjoy Hawaii's longest-running outdoor family-friendly festival celebrating science, technology, and the arts!

If you have gadgets and doohickeys to show off, bring them down and show off your creative crafting skills! If you have extra gear to trade or give away, bring that too! No sales are allowed, but trading is ok. Don't forget lunch, water, sunscreen, and a head covering.

Note that you definitely do NOT have to stay all day! People usually pop in, stay for an hour or two to see everything and then head out. We will have a tent, so come and hang! This event is FREE, all ages, and open to the public.
