DESCENT FROM THE ALPINE PASTURES

​Every year in September, around 40 young Lipizzaner stallions from the famous Lipizzaner breed for the Spanish Riding School in Western Styria return from the alpine pastures at over 1600 meters above sea level to their mother stud, the Lipizzaner Stud Piber.
