Avon Recreation Summer Concert - The Substitutes

Join us for a free concert on Thursday, July 31st (rain date August 1) from 6pm-8pm at Avon Town Green (on route 44, near the Town Offices).
Avon CT band, The Substitutes, will be performing pop and rock! Local food truck, the Kitchen by Keri, will be in attendance serving up gourmet grilled cheese, mac & cheese balls, and more! Bring lawn chairs and bug spray.
Don't forget we have 1 more concert in this series being held at Avon Town Green on August 14.
More about the band: Patrick Allen (Guitar, Vocals) and Andy Robbin (Keys, Ukulele, Vocals) have been performing as “The Substitutes” since 2007. They both met as educators in the same school district and have been playing music together ever since. Between their vocal harmonies and wide range of music selection, beginning with early 50s rock and extending all the way to music from today; The Substitutes always entertain a crowd!
