Join us at the **Heffner Community Center building** in Heffner Park (42 Oswego Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912) on Sunday, July 20th, from 12pm-4pm, for a unique hands-on workshop exploring 19th-century photographic printing techniques, including albumen, cyanotype, and salt printing. Participants will gain insight into the historical, artistic, and conservation aspects of analog photographic processes.
Led by Dr. Rasha Shaheen, Senior Archives Conservator at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Egypt and Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the National Archives, we will blend STEM and the humanities for a fun weekend afternoon learning experience.
