ANNOUNCEMENT! We will be offering a group public access class starting September 6 at 8 am at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary if there is enough interest. Classes would be for eight weeks and would focus on public access skills that are common to all service dogs, including ignoring distractions, socialization, handler focus, dining politely, loose leash walking and generalizing tasks. We will also discuss/practice interacting with the public and rights of SDiT in Florida.
We need a minimum of five dogs to run the class and will cap the class at ten dogs. Date/time can be somewhat flexible if it works for everyone. Dogs should already have AKC CGC or behaviors equivalent thereto. Iām happy to assess your pup in advance to determine if the class is a good fit. The class will not address tasking; if you need that, private sessions are available.
If you are interested, please PM me. #sidekickharleyquinn and #sidekickvader hope there will be the opportunity to practice their skills with new friends!
