Beginner Silver Smithing

Learn the basic metalsmithing techniques for creating sterling silver jewelry with bezel-set stones, including cutting, forming, soldering, polishing, and finishing. You will also learn safety protocols and how to use and care for the tools. No experience is required. The materials and the use of all tools are included in the class fee. This course is 12 hours over four weeks from 6-9 pm, and you will take home your sterling silver pendant with a bezel-set stone. The course will run on Tuesday evenings from August 4 through August 26th. Mary will be our teacher.
