Moss & Flame: An Autumn Art Series for Ages 8–11

Moss & Flame is a cozy, nature-rooted art series designed for children who crave imagination, quiet creativity, and a deeper connection to the seasons.
In this 3-part class, young artists will explore the earthy stillness of moss and the expressive spark of flame - a balance of quiet observation and bold creativity through rich mixed media projects. Some elements we will work with include: watercolor, texture, and natural materials like moss and pebbles, paired with soulful prompts to inspire personal, meaningful artwork that honors both grounding and growth.
This autumn, we lean into the rhythm of the season, where nature slows, softens, and glows.
• Moss reflects slowness, stillness, and quiet growth, like the forest floor settling as autumn deepens. It clings to stone, thrives in shade, and reminds us to root inward and notice the small things.
• Flame brings color, warmth, and transformation, like glowing sunsets, falling leaves, and firelight. It captures the spark of imagination before winter’s rest.
Held in a small-group setting, each session is crafted to help kids slow down and create with care. With thoughtful guidance and high-quality materials, students are supported in trusting their creative voice and connecting more deeply to their inner world.
All materials are included - specialty papers, nature-based additions, and a quiet space to imagine, express, and make something beautiful.
• Dates: Sept 12, Oct 10, Nov 14 (Fridays)
• Tuition: 🕊️ Early Bird (through Aug 15): $110 🌿 After August 15th: $120
• No drop-ins | All materials included
