Workshop taught by special guest teacher Laura Jennings from Norwich. 4 hours to get our teeth into this fun and lively jazz routine. Over 5 hours to allow for breaks! Only £12.50 pp.
Tea and coffee provided, bring your own sustenance and energy.
Laura has said of previous workshops:
Frankie Manning’s choreographed Big Apple routine was made famous in the 1939 film ‘Keep Punching’ and today is danced at social events across the world.
While it has choreographed steps, it also encourages each dancer to bring their own interpretation and style to the moves making it so much fun to break out on the social dance floor when you hear those opening bars, and then generally chaos ensues from there 🤣
The Big Apple is an intermediate/advanced solo jazz routine and some knowledge of vernacular jazz steps will be helpful.
