The Freetown Firefighters Association is a nonprofit organization founded by members of the Freetown Fire Department with a mission to give back to our community. Through fundraising efforts, the Association provides support to families recovering from house fires and other emergencies, while also helping equip our firefighters with tools and equipment they need to better serve our community.
In addition, the Association proudly supports community outreach initiatives like the SAFE (Student Awareness of Fire Education) and Senior SAFE programs. These programs allow firefighters to educate local students and senior citizens about fire safety, and to offer life-saving resources—including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, secure lock boxes, and reflective address signs at no cost to qualifying seniors.
