Lipantitlan Lecture; 190th Anniversary Series

Join us as we celebrate the 190th Anniversary of the first battle of Fort Lipantitlán. A detachment of Texian Independence fighters from Fort Goliad attacked and took control of the Fort Lipantitlán on November 4th 1835 and held it before retreating back to the Presidio.

This will be a day of presentations highlighting this small battle during the Goliad Campign of 1835 and shed light on its signicance to the Texas War for Independence.
