Take a breath, slow down, and look around the gardenβ¦
Art for Wellness CIC invites you to a 3-part outdoor art workshop series blending nature, creativity, and mindfulness in a safe, inclusive space for all ages (8+).
Held in the beautiful Springvale Community Garden, each session offers a unique creative experience rooted in self-expression, nature connection, and community wellbeing.
Whether you're 8 or 80+, a complete beginner or seasoned artist, everyone is welcome.
π¨ What Youβll Do
Each workshop includes a mix of personal and collaborative activities:
ποΈ Create meaningful, take-home crafts β such as suncatchers, twig sculptures, garden art, and painted stones
π Build an art journal page to reflect your thoughts and feelings
πΌ Contribute to a magical community garden display
π¬ Enjoy mindful moments and gentle connection with others

π§ Focus: Tactile art, self-reflection, storytelling

Paint wooden garden decorations and positive stones
Group art celebration with tea and biscuits
π Focus: Identity, encouragement, creative celebration
π Who Can Attend?
These sessions are open to:
Adults and older people
Children aged 8+ (must be accompanied by an adult)
Anyone experiencing isolation, stress, or looking for a creative outlet
π¨ No art experience is necessary β just bring your curiosity and kindness.
π‘οΈ Safeguarding & Accessibility
All facilitators are DBS-checked
Sessions are designed to be inclusive and welcoming
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult
The venue is accessible, but please contact us in advance with any specific needs
