'Hydrangea’s' Textile Art Workshop with Laura Edgar
Venue: Re-Create Today, Park View, Whitley Bay. Upstairs above 'Face Facts Aesthetics'.
Saturday 20 September 2025 1- 5 pm
Using the lovely Hydrangea flower as inspiration; we will explore shape, form and colour, to create textile art interpretations. We will collage layers of vintage fabrics / recycled clothing and embellish with hand embroidery techniques, using fabric and stitch as paint and pencil
All materials / equipment needed are provided. Only basic hand sewing skills required.
Refreshments are provided. Places are limited.
Cost is £45 per person. Full payment required upon booking. (fee is non-refundable in event of cancellation by participant but can be transferred to another of Laura's workshop).
