Destined to be one of the biggest concerts ever in the Wild Rivers Coast region! Special opening act with the combined high school jazz bands from Brookings-Harbor and Crescent city to get you pumped for the main event: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy!
Join us at Azalea Park in Brookings for this fundraiser concert on the last day of summer with world class swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. All concert profits will go to directly support the music programs at Brookings-Harbor School District and Del Norte Unified School District.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has appeared in concert venues worldwide and sold millions of records. Their music has appeared in hundreds of movies and TV shows. With sold out concerts from Lincoln Center to the Hollywood Bowl, appearances with many of the country's finest symphony orchestras, and TV appearances ranging from Dancing with the Stars to Superbowl XXXIII, the group continues its mission to celebrate and revitalize jazz and swing music — America's original musical art form — bringing joy to audiences around the world.
Gates open at 2:00 pm; the kids start at 3:00 pm, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy goes on at 3:30 pm. And there will be refreshments and food on site.
