Good food, wine and craft makes you live longer (don't quote us on that) but it's certainly a combination that brings a smile to the dial.
Join chef Carly Carter (aka Cutie Petutie Crafts) and food and wine journalist Katie Spain (aka Missy Boomsticks) for a playful gathering of art, craft, friendship and Fleurieu snacks in a quirky working orchard setting (we'll be indoors and warm). We love to show people the hidden cellar doors and spaces that make McLaren Vale tick. McCarthy's Orchard is one of their favourites.
You'll get a glass of wine (or a non-alc option) and a local produce platter by Bella Faulkner Catering to keep your energy up. There's wood-fired pizza and a bar available too if you want to kick on afterwards.
All craft materials are provided. There's no pressure: the goal here is in the fun of making… but guided by us, there's the chance to make food and wine themed earrings, recycled material bangles, head crowns and more. We'll be there every step of the way to help bring the colour and creativity out of you. No previous experience required. The only limit is your imagination.
