The Wauwatosa Historical Society cordially invites you to attend the kickoff of our latest initiative “A Walk Through Time – Discovering Wauwatosa’s Heritage” and the unveiling of our first exhibit at the Little Red Store in the Wauwatosa Village. The celebration will occur on Thursday, July 24 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm, with the unveiling taking place at 6 p.m. This event will coincide with the next Village Sip and Stroll, featuring street music throughout the Village an exhibit of historic sheet music at the Little Red Store.
This mission-driven project will bring history to life through a series of interpretive exhibits that tell the stories of Wauwatosa’s cherished buildings and locations. We will feature storyboards of the locations of planned, future exhibits, including the depiction of Indigenous history in Wauwatosa, eventually leading to immersive walking tours to culturally significant sites.
All are welcome to attend. Please consider donating to this exciting project or perhaps sponsoring a future exhibit.
