Hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Augusta, Georgia, Caleb Tokarska's musical journey began surrounded by the rich, soulful sounds that define his hometown.
Seeking further musical inspiration and growth, Tokarska made a pivotal move to New Orleans, where for the past six years he has made a name for himself as a songwriter and versatile guitarist.
He has also performed and recorded as a band member with the likes of John Boutté, Isaac Eady (Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Brothers), Brandon Boone (Tedeschi Trucks Band, Col. Bruce Hampton) and the late great Russell Batiste (Funky Meters).
This transition to New Orleans allowed him to explore the intersection of tradition and innovation, breathing new life into his performances.
Tokarska’s sound is an eclectic blend of American music, fusing together elements of rhythm and blues, jazz, soul, and country.
