The Jerry WIlliams Band
The JWB bring their 60s & 70s infused psych prog to Swansea’s High Street, having previously played with Big Feat amongst others. Expect hints of country and blues in a rich psychedelic soundscape.
Recluse
Formed in 2008 Recluse (South Wales, UK) have released 3 studio albums that balance heaviness with melody to provide a carefully crafted journey.
Recluse have shared the stage with a range of UK live music heavy weights such as Boss Keloid, Dorje, Spider Kitten and long time established touring bands as My Vitriol, Henry's Funeral Shoe and Tax the Heat along with warming up packed venues for tribute acts to the like of Black Sabbath, Nirvana and Thin Lizzy.
In doing so Recluse have captivated the live music scene and a wide range of audiences with Recluse's focus on emotional weight whilst always being locked in a groove.
Recluse cultivate their musical style to balance heaviness with melody. Their latest album Lay Your Darkness Down With Me provides a carefully crafted journey which encompasses the gamut of concise, yet diverse, tracks such as The Quiet Hours, You Get Out Alone, Stomah, Throat and Scene, to the more progressive album components of Werewolves, Olympus and Le Rose Hotel.
In true Recluse fashion, this latest offering subtly encompasses a range of musical influences into another neatly constructed album.
In summer of 2023 Recluse gained significant play on streaming platforms and buzz on social media following the inclusion in an award winning independent video game Arcade Paradise developed by Nosebleed Interactive, published by Wired Productions, and available on all major gaming platforms.
Their music is included on the in-game jukebox, the four tracks are The Quiet Hours, Bury us Separately, Idols, and Throat.
BBC Radio Adam Walton
“I’d give anything for that guitar sound”
Stereoboard
“Recluse produce a heavy, bass filled sound laced with emotive vocals that do well-penned lyrics the justice they deserve. The drumming and guitar riffs are fantastic and the varied sound takes you on well directed journeys as you listen.”
Recluse are Britt Roberts (Guitar & Vocals), Tom Stephenson (Bass) and Alex Davies (Drums)
