Celebrating 3 nights of WSP in AVL with a pre-party to get your Friday rolling. Bear Creek String Bandits will be playing tunes at DSSOLVR from 4-6 right around the corner from Harrah's arena. Stop on in and say hi, check out the craft market, grab some Shady Grove Coffee, chill in the courtyard with a delicious brew and gear up for another night of fun in AVL πΆ
About the band:
This talented Asheville based trio, comprised of Bonnie Leigh (bass), Chad Ananda (mandolin), and Alex Ball (guitar/fiddle), can be found around town leading bluegrass jams, playing at a fundraiser, or a wedding, performing at a festival, or just passing instruments around a campfire. They love to play music and it shows. Well versed in their instruments, each member is also a dynamic singer who brings their own unique voice to the bandβs wide and varying song collection. Expect to hear some traditional bluegrass, old time ballads and fiddle tunes, jazz and even a few classic rock favorites, highlighting their long, diverse musical backgrounds, all with three stringed instruments. Occasionally the band will enlist help from some local legends to round out the sound and bring a truly engaging atmosphere to their live performances.
