Hairston Hoedown IV is a donation-based celebration of Kentucky and Appalachian music, art, and community β all in support of the Appalachian Pioneer Program (APP). Taking place on Saturday , August 16 in Lexington, KY, this event features performances by some of the regionβs most heartfelt and talented artists, capped off with Clarke Sextonβs Special Jam to close out the night.
The Appalachian Pioneer Program is a grassroots nonprofit led by survivors of natural disasters, committed to providing disaster relief, supporting local economies, and amplifying Appalachian voices. In the past year alone, APP has delivered aid across Kentucky, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, organized public murals and clean water campaigns, hosted community drives, and partnered with festivals, artists, and small businesses to create lasting impact.
Donations from this event go directly toward supporting these ongoing efforts β helping real people, in real time.
An amazing night of music for APP with very limited spots!
