Saturday July, 19, 12pm - 2pm β¨Join us for a traditional O'safke (Sofke) making workshop led by Muscogee chef Carol Tiger! We are thrilled to get to bring this class to Tulsa where so many Muscogee citizens are ready to learn. This dish is a traditional drink made with white corn, lye, and wood ash. Carol Tiger has her own business Hompvks Ce Mvskoke Cooking & Catering based in Okemah, Oklahoma and has been a long established cook in our community. Just last month she placed in many categories, including overall People's Choice, in the Mvskoke Foodways Contest held at the College of Muscogee Nation. We are really looking forward to this one, come on by to Burning Cedar Sovereign Wellness for a demonstration and tasting! π½
