This hands-on workshop style class will consist of multiple side-by-side comparison tastings. From First Flush Darjeeling from India, Two vastly different Taiwanese teas, as well as some of our favorite Dian Hong, and a Black tea from Japan, too! Even though in this part of the world we tend to be familiar with Black teas, we might not realize how varied and broad the category truly can be. We'll touch on some history and explore some brewing methods to get the most out of these teas all while enjoying the summer scenery at the tea hut.
