Join us as we start our next MAAC season at The BrickHouse with the Kentucky bluegrass sounds of “Michael Prewitt & CrunchGrass Supreme” this August.
This is another “listening room” style session, as always, it’s free to attend, and seating is first come. Our doors will open at 7:30pm with the show starting at 8pm. MAAC Memberships will also be available for our 2026 season, for just $25, which helps make our programs possible throughout the year. Thank you for considering supporting our ongoing efforts.
Michael Prewitt is a Kentucky-based singer/songwriter who has performed as part of the Grammy-nominated “Special Consensus” until his own debut album “The Peerless Mountain Sessions” in early 2024. This album of self-described “fiddle tunes” featured a trio of mandolin, banjo, and bass, and was followed with “Something He Can Handle” in late 2024. Michael will be performing alongside his “CrunchGrass Supreme” on our stage which includes good friend and past MAAC guest Dylan Lewis of the band “Humbletown”.
The Madison Area Arts Council is supported through the generosity of our donors and members, The City of Madison, South Dakota, and through the South Dakota Arts Council, whose support is provided with funds from the State of South Dakota, through the Department of Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Thank you!
