Get ready to put your endurance to the test at the Mountain Goat Endurance 5K! This challenging and rewarding race lives up to its name! Starting at Oneonta First Baptist Church's back parking lot on 4th Street North in Oneonta, this unique course climbs the scenic and demanding Shuff Mountain, making it a true test of grit and determination. This 5K promises breathtaking views, a supportive community, and a serious sense of accomplishment.
The race kicks off at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 20th, and proceeds benefit the Otis Headley Scholarship, helping local students pursue their educational dreams. The event is proudly sponsored by the Blount-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce and itβs more than just a race. Itβs an opportunity to give back, challenge yourself, and be part of something meaningful. Lace up your shoes and meet us at the mountain!
Early bird registration ($30) starts Tuesday, July 8th, and ends on Friday, July 18th! Normal registration ($40) continues through Saturday, September 13th. Those who register early get a free t-shirt! Stay tuned to see the design. π
