104. Digital Photography II - Overland Park

Get out of the Auto modes and take the next step in gaining the foundational skills to become a great photographer! This class will cover the principles of light and exposure including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, histograms, etc. This class is designed for those wanting to gain a better understanding of their equipment and what it takes to be a photographer.

Key topics include:

• The elements of exposure

• Basic and advanced camera operations

• Photographic and digital terminology

• Shooting techniques and styles

• Photo demonstrations and assignments

Class Duration: Four 2-Hour Sessions - or - One 6-Hour Session

Prerequisites: 103. Digital Photography I and a fundamental knowledge of computer skills such as transferring images, renaming files, uploading/downloading and emailing files. Photography knowledge such as basic camera operation, lens characteristics, composition and lighting concepts is also important before taking 104.

Class Fees: $125 per student

Class Size Limit: 8-15 Students depending on venue
