National Book Award finalist and TED speaker Jarrett J. Krosoczka is set to captivate readers as he takes the stage at Abbot Public Library as a part of his "Summah Readin’ Roadtrip!" Known for his engaging storytelling and impactful illustrations, Krosoczka will present the Marblehead community with a multimedia presentation on his creative journey and the process he takes to create his award-winning books!

During the program, Krosoczka will share insights into his creative process, discuss the importance of storytelling, and encourage library patrons to explore their own creativity—all the while instilling the power of resilience and hard work. His journey from aspiring artist to accomplished author is sure to inspire the next generation of writers and illustrators!

Jarrett J. Krosoczka is a New York Times bestselling author, illustrator and TED speaker. His work includes picture books such as "Punk Farm, " the Lunch Lady graphic novel series, and the critically acclaimed graphic memoir, "Hey, Kiddo. " Krosoczka's books have garnered numerous awards, and his dedication to promoting literacy and creativity has made him a beloved figure in the literary community. Realizing that his books can inspire young readers beyond the page, Krosoczka founded School Lunch Hero Day, a national campaign celebrating school lunch staff.
