WildVibes: Pewter Casting Workshop (Ages 11-16)
Get ready for our half day WildVibes workshop!
Join Clare , an experienced creative facilitator, and Asim , our supportive youth worker, for a hands-on Pewter Casting half day session in the woodland. Never tried pewter casting before? It involves melting lead-free pewter (a tin-based alloy) and pouring it into a mold to create a desired shape, often used for jewellery, model-making, and many other crafts.
What to Expect:
Cast your mould – Learn how to make a mould from a cuttlefish and fill it in with the molten metal! With it, you will make your own key ring fob or a pendant.
Make a figurine – In the second part of the session, we will explore sand casting by imprinting a figurine before pouring the metal into it. Cosy Creativity – Enjoy the refreshing squash or a cup of hot chocolate (with optional marshmallows!) as you create.
Lunch break – During the workshop, we will also take time to have a lunch break, so please remember to bring your lunch with you.
This is an outdoor workshop , so dress warmly and wear sturdy footwear. We have a covered area in case of rain, so the session will go ahead whatever the weather!
 Meeting Point: Cup-O-T’s woodland entrance
 Date & Time: Friday, 8th August, 10am-2pm
 Tickets: £3
These sessions are funded by Norfolk Community Foundation, Asda Foundation, Co-op Local Community Fund, and Aviva Access to Nature Fund.
Come and make your own key ring fob or a pendant while immersing yourself in nature. We can't wait to create with you!
