How Myth and Folk Tales can support us with Transforming Conflict

Our Hatherleigh resident Storyteller and Conflict Transformation Facilitator presents an evening of old stories from across the world, along with what we might learn from them to support us when conflict arises (as it inevitably and necessarily does). So that conflict resolves itself into the changes that were needed for growth and peace, rather than compromise, sacrifice or oppression.

About Borage, our Storyteller
Storyteller, Conflict Transformation Facilitator, Mentor, Ritual Ceremonialist, Cultural Activist, Market Gardner and now Hatherleigh resident. After 15 years working in mental health services I committed to heading upstream from society’s remedial response to the significant, worsening problem of our collective mental and emotional stability, to wrestle with it closer to source; our shared modern culture. Seven years later the result of this has become a way of tending to the (re-)emergence of what I call a ‘Hearth centred culture’ through a range of new (ancient) approaches.
