Elders & Seniors Beading - Registration Required

Elders and Seniors age 55+ are invited to join us and share in an afternoon of traditional beading. Whether you’re a seasoned beading pro or a beginner, you’re welcome to join us!
With our workshop being moved to a larger room, if you would like to attend but would prefer to work on your own projects, please feel free to join.
July 7th – Sweetgrass Earrings: A creative and meaningful workshop where participants will bead their own pair of sweetgrass-inspired earrings. Guided by our facilitator, you’ll learn techniques to bring this beautiful design to life – honouring the cultural significance of sweetgrass.
July 21st – Unfinished Projects: Have a beading project you’ve been meaning to finish? This workshop is the perfect time to bring it along, sit down with friends, and finally complete those beautiful pieces. Facilitator Tammy will be there to offer support, guidance, or a helping hand if needed – whether you’re picking up where you left off or just need a bit of encouragement to keep going.
All are welcome in this relaxed and creative space. Let’s bead, visit, and create together.
Registration is required and opens July 27th. To register please contact 780-743-8555 or email cmVjZXB0aW9uIHwgbmlzdGF3b3lvdWFmYyAhIGNvbQ==
Thank you to the Golden Year Society for their continued support in providing the venue.
This program is generously sponsored by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Community Sustaining Grant.
