Chilham 6 mile walk

This is an easy to follow evening walk of 6 miles, starting from the picturesque village of Chilham.
We head along the North Downs Way, rising gradually as we proceed along Mountain Street, but don't worry it definitely isn't a mountain. We then join a byway for a more steady ascent, to reach the edge of King's Wood.
The circuit drops down through Godmersham Park, and there are great views as we descend, before making our return leg back to Chilham via Catha's Seat. There are a couple of pubs in Chilham at the walk finish, for those wishing to participate in post walk drinks.
Difficulty: Moderate
Ascent: 600ft
Dogs welcome on short lead when required
Starting point - Village car park with toilets is located in Taylors Hill
Nearest postcode: CT4 8BZ
Walk leader is Kevin Hall
