Neil Martin is a Belfast-born composer, cellist, and uilleann piper with an international reputation for his work across opera, dance, theatre, film, and traditional music. His compositions have been performed everywhere from the Royal Albert Hall to Ground Zero and even aboard the International Space Station. A founding member of the West Ocean String Quartet, Neil has collaborated with leading artists and orchestras worldwide, and his music has been featured in major productions on Broadway and the West End. Deeply rooted in Irish tradition, his work bridges classical and folk worlds with creativity and emotional depth. He is currently touring with, amongst others, Mary Dillon & Dónal O’Connor & The Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh Band.
