Trumpeter and composer Jessica Carlton is known for her warm, lyrical playing and inclusive approach to music-making. A mother herself and passionate advocate for neurodiversity, her compositions speak to shared experiences and quiet joys. In 2023, she released a four-track suite dedicated to her daughter, exploring the challenges and deep connection of parenthood.
For this event, Jessica performs with her new trio ‘In this nest of found things’, featuring acclaimed vocalist Holli Scott and guitarist Dom Barrett. With state, national, and international accolades between them, this ensemble creates music that’s intimate, improvisation-led, and deeply affecting.
