78th Annual Rotorua Speech and Drama Competition

This is a FREE event to come watch the performances. Over the two days more than 150 five to twenty year olds will participate in rehearsed group drama items, reading recitals, Shakespeare, light verse, character recitals in costume, poetry recitals, impromptu performances, prepared speeches and more.

The Premier event is the ‘Performer of the Year Award’ which takes place on the Sunday afternoon at 2pm with senior competitors taking to the stage.

Prize giving where 50+ cups and trophies are announced is at 6.00pm on the Sunday.
