Boat Parade of Lights

Annual event- Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. All boats welcome to join us at Jones Creek before 7pm on the Annisquam river. Then parade towards Gloucester Harbor, through the bridges and into the harbor and Gloucester inner harbor coves. Ending with fireworks! For spectators - you can view the parade anywhere along the route, but the popular spots are along Gloucester Boulevard where a Concert also happens and then fireworks over the harbor. Other spots are at waterfront restaurants and businesses. Houses and businesses along the route are encouraged to light up and get involved on the shore line. This is a free event to enter and the view. Parking is available around the city, there are no designated event parking areas. A great annual event for all, in conjunction with the annual Schooner Festival.
