You’re invited to Summer Ayres, a repertoire reading party hosted by Pendulum Early Music and St. Michael’s Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Boise.
Do you play an instrument that was commonly used in the Baroque era or sing solo works for voice from that time period? Come read your favorite works with members of Pendulum Early Music and other local Baroque music lovers!
This will be a fun, casual night of music reading for anyone who’s interested in Baroque performance. No specialized training or period instrument is required. Note that the harpsichord pitch will be A=415 (approximately the same as Ab in modern pitch).
To RSVP as a performer, follow this link to a Google Form where you can provide links to any music you want to perform: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScCZiNCcAWdkfVSNuF3Xl-MOttpgE1PeuwKYrEZ455AMst7Pw/viewform?usp=header
Pendulum will also bring our favorite trio sonatas and works for small ensemble for anyone who wants to jump in and play.
Don’t play an instrument but want to come hang out? We’d love to see you in the audience.
This event is free and open to the public, but donations in support of Pendulum Early Music’s 25-26 season are gratefully accepted.
