Women on the Production Line

Women took on many manufacturing roles during World War II, including the production of Steinway pianos called Victory Verticals that were sent to the European war front to boost morale. At this program, hear from Jordan Cook, an expert on Victory Verticals, on the shifting involvement of women on the production line at Steinway and their importance to the war effort.
