Update: Registration for this event is full. Those who registered will receive an email with their scheduled time for the event.

This summer be sure to stop by the Yankton Community Library at 515 Walnut Street and Color Your World! Don’t forget to bring your art brochure to library events! Collect stamps to be entered into an extra prize drawing at the end of summer reading.

On Friday, July 18 starting at 10 AM, get ready to Color Your Wardrobe with Tie Dye Friday! We will have everything you need to create bright and colorful tie dye creations. Learn how to create a variety of tie dye patterns and choose your favorite for your own shirt.

Once registered, people will be notified of their assigned time on Friday, July 18 between 10 AM and 12 PM. This event will take place outside the library across Walnut Street in the east grassy area. We will be working with groups of people in shifts to give everyone adequate time and instruction for designing their shirt. As dye can stain clothes, please plan your outfit accordingly. The rain date for this event is Monday, July 21st.

You can register for our Summer Reading Program at cityofyankton.beantstack.org. Track your reading for a chance to win some great prizes. All ages are encouraged to participate. If you need additional accommodations to participate in these events or have questions about these events, please contact the library. Call the library at 605-668-5275 or email us at bGlicmFyeSB8IGNpdHlvZnlhbmt0b24gISBvcmc=.
