Ocean Body : The Surfer’s Yoga Class with Craig Fisher

A session to prepare for and assist in the recovery from the repetitive actions of surf, working with the breath, mind and body as one.

This class is designed to support both preparation and recovery from the repetitive motions of surfing. Through breath, mindful movement, and postural awareness, we target the nervous system to promote calm, increase mobility, and build strength where it’s needed most.

You’ll be guided through a creative flow that draws from vinyasa, yin, hatha, somatics, and calisthenics. The sequence focuses on surf-body-specific flexibility, stability, and alignment—from feet to head—helping you move with more ease in and out of the water.

Guided by Craig Fisher, a surfer who came into the yogi life over 10 years ago via the introduction of vinyasa yoga. In search of making his body stronger for surfing and discovered a whole lot more.
