WPG Members Meeting - Saturday 19th July 2025
The meeting starts at 11am - doors are open from 10am.
Moya Geraghty of Patchwork Plus, Cork - website = https://patchworkplus.ie will be the visiting fabric & sewing notions shop.
Our WPG Member - Josephine (Jo) Whitmore will be our guest speaker and in the afternoon Jo will also give a 1/2 day workshop on Miniature Quilts.
Hilary O’Byrne will give a pre-meeting demo.
Tomomi McElwee will collect your entries for the Tinahely Show (website = www.tinahelyshow.ie ) for the @tinahelyquiltmarquee We encourage as many of our WPG Members to enter your quilts/projects for the show which will be held on the August Bank Holiday Monday 4th August 2025.
We will have the usual WPG Charity Table in aid of CALI (website = https://cali.ie), so bring along any unwanted fabric/sewing notions you may no longer require. All donations go to this worthy charity.
Bring along your finished/unfinished projects for ‘WPG Show & Tell’. We would love to see your work and that from recent workshops if you have attended.
Teas & coffee will be available – please bring along your own mug – thank you.
Entry to WPG monthly meetings is €3.00 for members (unless you already paid for your yearly membership/meetings in advance) and €5.00 for visitors.
