What is Voodoo Boogie? Voodoo Boogie is three of Melbourne’s biggest and most popular blues and roots bands who have got together and created a mobile mini festival. The Oakleigh Music Hall Gig at The Oakleigh RSL will be the 8th Voodoo Boogie show, it’s a well-oiled Blues machine. The three bands who make Voodoo Boogie are The Detonators, Collards,Greens and Gravy and Rod Paine and The Fulltime Lovers,no introduction is required! Special guest is D.J.Dingo who will be spinnng discs on the night The members of these bands have been around the traps for well over 30 years with umpteen recordings and awards to all their names, the experience will prevail. Voodoo Boogie is a top-quality afternoon out and all the previous seven shows have been to full houses.We only get together rarey due to our musical workloads. You’ll get plenty of Blues, Bar Room Roots Rock n Roll and everything in between on the night. Please bring your dancing shoes, you will need them,nonn stop music all day. Each band does a set and if time permits there’ll be a monster jam where musical mayhem will be sure to prevail. Voodoo Boogie is not to be missed. Turn up or get a spell on you.
