California Native Plant Propagation Workshop

Carolyn Brown will guide you through the hands-on propagation of several California native plant species using semi hard wood cuttings. Participants will learn several easy to propagate species, how to identify them, how to make cuttings and how to follow up with their horticultural care. Participants will make, pot up and take home several different species that are suitable for our environment and that are good landscaping/garden choices.

We will also tour the new propagation site that the Sanhedrin Chapter of the California Native Plant Society has built for propagating and growing out regionally native plants for local restoration plantings such as the Rail Trail.
